Manifesting- It's More than just a wish!

Have you tried manifesting and it just doesn’t seem to work like they say? You keep focusing on what you want to create – healthy relationships, the dream job, the financial abundance, the perfect house – but you keep seeing reminders of the things you dislike about your life – the strained relationships, the dead end job, the pile of bills, the problems with where you live…
STOP…Yep right there. There it is.
Manifesting isn’t working for you because you’re filling your thoughts with things you dislike. You keep feeling unhappy when you look at the things in your life you want to change. Yes, I am #sorrynotsorry that I said that. Stay with me.
You can visualize, create the lists you want, do every possible technique you can think of, read about, or come up with, but if you keep focusing on what is wrong with your life, you’re wasting your time! It’s not going to happen.

If you keep focusing on not having the relationship you want, you will create more of not having the relationship you want. If you worry about how you’re going to pay your mortgage, you will create more experiences of having trouble paying your mortgage. If you fixate on how miserable your job is, you will see every miserable detail there is to see. Where you live is too small, too outdated, to noisy, then you are going to call in more of that.
Instead of creating what you want, you will create what you don’t want.
Manifesting what we want is complicated, and it takes work. Especially when we have a hard time staying focused on what it is we WANT instead of what we DO NOT want. If you focus on what you dislike about your life, the Law of Attraction isn’t working to bring you what you want because you are using it to create what you don’t want. Make sense?
That’s why the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you!
Instead, you need to start focusing on the good things in your life, no matter how small they may be.
- Did a stranger unexpectedly smile at you?
- Did you get to enjoy your coffee or tea when it was actually hot?
- Did you do something nice for yourself today?
- Did you get a good parking space? (One of my favorites!)
- Was something on your shopping list unexpectedly on sale?
- Did you have a good hair day?
- Was your spouse/dog/cat/child/ happy to see you when you got home?
No matter how unrelated it might be to what you want to manifest, be grateful for the good things in your life. The more grateful you are for them, the more you create opportunities for other good things to come to you, including the very things you desire most. It will increase your vibration and help you stay focused on the good! That leads to a more positive mindset, which leads to happier thoughts, which leads to staying focused – which leads to helping you manifest more efficiently.
- Decide to find something good in your life.
- Decide to find as many good things as possible.
- Make it happen.
And before you know it…
You’ll no longer be able to say manifestation isn’t possible. Instead, you’ll be wondering how great it can be!
One last thing I think is worth mentioning! Before you get to started on calling in what you want, make sure that you think about what it is that you will do once you achieve it. What does that look like? If you don’t, you may not be able to recognize it when it arrives!
